Lionheart 2025, The Roaring Twenties, is THIS Saturday, June 7th at 6 pm!

Let's finish this school year out with an amazing celebration in honor of our AMAZING SMK Teachers and honoring the absolutely swell Carol Corr and Chris Murphy, Parish Trustees extraordinaire! Attendance again this year has been exceptional, and we want YOU to be there, as well! If you have not done so already, please purchase your Lionheart admission tickets HERE.

With the size and scope of this Lionheart, we still need volunteers for almost every role. Please sign up to volunteer to help before, during or after the event! Every pair of hands helps! Most shifts, we only ask for one hour of your time. You can sign up using this SignupGenius to claim your volunteer time and activity, and we still need all-important Games Assistants. If you are a Member of Holy Name, and you would like to bartend for (1) one hour shift, please let your Society know here.

Day-of-the-event information! Rain or shine, Lionheart has you covered with a beautiful huge tent on the School's front lawn. Summer Cocktail Party attire (with a Great Gatsby twist, if you so chose!) but mind your heels on the lawn, ladies! When you arrive, please check in with one of our wonderful Check-in Volunteers. Lionheart is a cashless event!

When you receive your Silent Auction bidding link this week from our Auction Platform Company, Greater Giving, you can pre-register your credit card information. What does that mean to you? At Check-in, all you have to do is state your name to receive your Bidder Number! (This keeps the Check-in Line shorter for all!)

Similarly, if you are joining a table through a wonderful Lionheart 2025 Sponsor, please complete the RSVP email you have received. Again, please enter your credit card information for pre-registration to receive the VIP treatment. If you have not received the Sponsor's RSVP email yet, please reach out to the Sponsor to share it with you.

As you already know, Lionheart has a live Tuition Raffle for one free year of tuition for one student! (1) ticket entry for $20 or (6) entries for $100. Ticket entries will be on sale at Lionheart, and the winner will be drawn live, but you may also purchase your pre-sale tuition raffle tickets here!

Please be on the look-out for our email later this week when the SILENT AUCTION goes LIVE and you can start your bidding (with a LIVE AUCTION PREVIEW!)

We cannot wait to share with all of you how many fantastic packages we have ready to be auctioned, and we absolutely CANNOT WAIT to celebrate with all of you this weekend, all to benefit our beloved St. Mark School!

Dear Families and Friends of St. Mark School,

Get ready to ROAR with excitement! We are thrilled to announce that the Lionheart Auction 2025 – "The Roaring Twenties" will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025. This year, we have the distinct honor of celebrating two remarkable individuals:

Mrs. Carol Corr

Mr. Christopher Murphy, Esq.

Carol Corr and Chris Murphy, both Parish Trustees, and Mrs. Corr–a founding Lionheart Auction Chair, have dedicated themselves to shaping the future of St. Mark with unwavering commitment, leadership, and love. Their decades of service and forward-thinking vision have played a pivotal role in preserving our Parish and ensuring the continued success of St. Mark School. Lionheart 2025 is our opportunity to express our deepest gratitude and celebrate their incredible contributions.

The Tradition of Lionheart

More than just a fundraiser, Lionheart is a time-honored tradition that unites our community and serves as a cornerstone of support for St. Mark School. Its success is a direct result of the dedication and generosity of our school families, parishioners, and local supporters.

This year’s Roaring Twenties theme is a nod to our current twenties era and a celebration of over 100 years of St. Mark School traditions – as well as a roaring call to action! We invite our entire school, parish, and North Buffalo Family of Parishes to come together and make Lionheart 2025 the most memorable and successful Lionheart yet. Our goal is to foster community spirit, strengthen our bonds, and ensure the continued success of St. Mark School.

Whether you are a seasoned Lionheart attendee or new to the event, your participation is essential to its success. A Lionheart 101 email will be sent to school families via their Room Parents to help guide Lionheart newcomers. We also encourage past attendees to share their best Lionheart memories with others!

This year’s event promises great music, an open bar, delicious food from local restaurants, and exciting auction items—a night not to be missed! We are also excited to bring back the beloved all-inclusive Teacher Trip giveaway and look forward to sharing more exciting announcements as Lionheart approaches.

Gift Gathering Parties – Join the Fun!

Our Gift Gathering Parties have officially begun! These parties are a wonderful way to meet fellow parents, reconnect with friends, and contribute to the Lionheart Auction. Lionheart Gift Gathering Party Calendar

Each party has a theme, with attendees asked to bring a gift valued at $50 for the silent auction. Cash and check donations are also accepted. For convenience, a Lionheart Gift Registry is available on Amazon. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our party hosts and look forward to seeing you there!

Volunteers Needed!

With over 500 attendees, Lionheart depends on the generosity of our volunteers. From pre-event preparations to on-site event support, every helping hand makes a difference. Opportunities to get involved will be shared through Room Parents and email updates.
